In the re-launch of its Website as one of the major activities to mark its 50th anniversary, the Jamaica Netball Association has refreshed its efforts to show off itself and its accomplishments to the world.

Netball has done Jamaica proud. It is our most successful team sport to date. Jamaica is consistently in the top four netballing nations in the world, a feat accomplished on the back of the tremendous work done over the past half-century by the JNA.

There is every justification for the “new” JNA website which I have been informed has been upgraded to accommodate feedback from the public and which will have more links with sponsors to assist the Association in its fundraising campaigns.

The re-launched website will certainly brighten the spotlight on Jamaica’s phenomenal record of success in netball, representing a definite step up from the current site which was established back in 2006.

I am sure that the JNA will be rewarded with hundreds, maybe thousands of hits, on the re-launched website as Jamaica’s netball makes even greater strides in the next 50 years.

While we all remain proud and supportive “spectators”, the JNA can be assured that the Government, through the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture will continue to do all that it can to assist our netball programme.
